The timeline depends on which package you choose:
Most sites go live in 1–2 weeks once we've received your content (basic text about your services, photos, logo, contact details) and the first payment has been made.
Priority build aiming for 3–5 working days after we receive your content and payment. Your project jumps to the front of the queue.
Please note: The speed also depends on how quickly you can reply to any questions we have and approve the design. The faster you respond, the faster we can get your site live. We'll keep things moving on our end!
Fast Track is our priority website service. When you choose Fast Track, your project jumps to the front of our queue and we aim to design, build and launch your website within the same week – usually around 3–5 working days once we have your content and first payment.
The setup fee is £299 (instead of £199 for Standard), and the monthly hosting remains £39/month.

Not in a rush? Standard Build & Host at £199 setup is excellent value and delivers the same quality website – just with a slightly longer timeline of 1–2 weeks.
You have complete flexibility. Here's how it works:
Northline handles all the hosting, technical setup, security, backups, and small ongoing updates (like changing text, photos, prices, opening hours, etc.). You just email us when you need something updated and we'll take care of it.
Best for: businesses who want everything taken care of with no technical hassle.
Northline designs and builds your website, then exports it and hands the files over to you. You (or your IT person/existing hosting provider) can then host it anywhere you like. No monthly fees to us.
Best for: businesses with existing hosting, in-house IT support, or those who prefer full control.
Note: Optional care and support plans may be available if you need help with updates later on.
It depends on which package you choose:

The whole point is that you don't have to worry about the technical side – that's what we're here for.
Updates depend on where you're hosting and what tools you're using. If you have in-house IT support or a web-savvy team member, they can make changes directly. If not, Northline can help with updates as a paid support service – just get in touch to discuss what you need.
Don't worry – you won't be left with a website you can't edit at all. We'll make sure you have a solution that works for your situation.
We keep this simple. Here's what we typically need to get started:

Payment is straightforward and transparent:
You'll receive an initial invoice for the setup fee – £199 for Standard Build & Host, £299 for Fast Track Build & Host, or £349 for Build & Export. This is typically paid before we start the project or at the very beginning.
For Build & Host clients, the £39/month hosting and support fee starts when your website goes live (or on an agreed date). This covers hosting, technical maintenance, security, and small ongoing updates.
No long-term contracts. Build & Host is a rolling monthly arrangement. If you decide it's not for you, just give us reasonable notice (typically 30 days) and we'll stop the service.

We keep things simple and fair:
You can cancel your monthly hosting plan with reasonable notice (typically 30 days). After that, hosting and ongoing updates will stop. Your domain name (if it's registered in your name) remains yours – you'll always own that.
There are no long-term contracts or exit penalties. If it's not working for you, just let us know and we'll part on good terms.
You already have the website files handed over, so you're in full control of where it's hosted and what happens to it. You can move it, keep it, or take it down whenever you like – it's entirely yours.
We're confident you'll be happy with Northline, but we don't want to trap anyone in a long-term arrangement that doesn't suit them. Simple, honest, no games.
